Please read throughly before reserving with us.

BEFORE RESERING WITH US

○The maximum weight to ride our horse is 90kg.
○The minimum age to ride our horse is 9 years old.
○We charge 100% for cancelling on the day of reservation. Please make sure to let us know at least a day before by 5pm


Clothes ------------------------------------------------------- ○Please wear clothes which covers your body such as longs jeans and long sleeves. ○We rent warm clothes and rainwear for your need. ○We rent helmets/gloves/boots.
How to get here --------------------------------------------- ○You can take Shinkansen(express train)from Tokyo. We suggest getting off at Sakudaira station. ○Free shuttle/car available from Miyota station/ Sakudaira station/ Komoro station.
Payments ----------------------------------------------------- ○We accept credit cards and cash.

　Trekking course　

50minutes course
trekking for first time riders

○Walk ONLY walk in our nearest forest. Customers will learn the basics of handling our horse in the paddock for 20minutes and walk outside for about 30minutes.

○The minimum age to join is 9 years old.

○This course is especially for first time riders.

○This course is ¥12,800.
　 (it changes depending on the season. Please ask us.)

100minutes course
trekking for either first time riders or experienced riders.

○First time riders will mostly walk but might be able to experience trott based of guide’s judgment.

○20minutes in the paddock+80minutes outside(By trotting, time will get shorter).

○for experienced riders: Customers have to be able to trot or canter by themselves in the paddock in order to do it outside. By trotting and cantering, the course time will be shorter.

○For busy season, we only accept the reservation of more than 2 people.

○The minimum age to join is 12 years old.

○This course is for first time riders.

○This course is ¥21,000.
(it changes depending on the season.Please ask us.)

150minutes course
trekking for experienced riders ONLY.

○Riders shoule be able to trot by themselves .

○Customers have to be able to trot or canter by themselves in the paddock in order to do these outside.

○The minimum age to join is 12 years old.

○By trotting and cantering, the course time will be shorter.

○For busy season, we only accept the reservation of more than2 people.

※This course is mostly for off season. Please ask us for more information.

○This course is for first time riders.

○This course is ¥31,000.
(it changes depending on the season. Please ask us.)

Trekking Time -----------------------------------------

Please choose preferred time.: 9:30~/11:00~/13:30~/15:00~

What happens on a rainy day? ----------------------------------- Customers will be able to enjoy trekking on a rainy day. We will walk in a forest, so there is less chance of getting wet. For heavy rain, we rent rain clothes!!

Our tour guides are experienced with foreigners!

Not all of our guides can speak English fluently, but we do our best to present you the best time here at Makiba Karuizawa.
